Leuven (Functional and Cognitive Linguistics: Grammar and Typology), where I work on the project "Towards a diachronic typology of the middle voice". In 2021, I have been awarded the SLE Eugenio Coseriu Book Award for an outstanding monograph by a junior scholar (Monograph: The Hittite Middle Voice. Synchrony, diachrony, typology). My research interests include the following areas: Indo-European linguistics (with a focus on Hittite, Latin, and Greek), historical linguistics, morphosyntax, pragmatics, computational linguistics, and language typology. I have worked on discourse structure and connectives, subordination and relative clauses, verbal valency and transitivity phenomena, tense and aspect.
