Blended mode
Abstract The aim of this lecture is to present the projects for the constitution and expansion of the written, oral and lexicographic corpus available for the Catalan language, especially those developed at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans, the academy of the Catalan language. In the last 25 years new resources have been made available for the study of Catalan, both synchronic and diachronic, as well as concerning the prediction of new regulations. Within the framework of the study of Romance languages, these materials represent an effort to place a minority language at the level of those that enjoy a higher international prestige.
Speaker Mercè Lorente Casafont University Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona
